St. Richard Education /Faith Commission: The commission’s responsibility is to envision opportunities to educate the parish community about our Catholic faith. The main goal is to provide a strong, complete and reflective catechesis in all educational areas of parish life.
Adult Faith Formation: Opportunities for Adult Formation include Bible Studies, Parish Missions, Prayer Experiences, and many educational and inspiring programs. Various programs are scheduled throughout the year.

Parish School of Religion
The PSR Program offers religious education from kindergarten through grade 8 for students attending public schools. The program is taught by a team of dedicated volunteer catechists. Below is the regular class schedule. Registration forms and schedules are available in the Religious Education Office. Grades K – 8: Monday 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Vacation Bible School:
This week long annual event is held in early summer for younger children. The week centers on a particular biblical theme that is worked into crafts, storytelling, scripture and other activities.

Administered by a staff of Catholic educators. St. Richard School provides a Catholic education for students in grades K through 8, and a Before and After School Care Program.

Other organizations pertaining to the school include:
St. Richard Parents’ Club: This group helps to create greater appreciation of Catholic education. The Parents’ Club sponsors fund raising activities to help meet various needs of the school. Projects include Market Day and Certificate sales.

St. Richard Theater Company (SRTC): Children in grades 4-8 have an opportunity to learn acting, dancing, singing, building and painting of props and scenery, as well as being involved with costumes, ushering, ticket sales and concessions. This group sponsors a yearly performance.

St. Richard Endowment Committee: This group helps to raise funds through annual projects. Monies help provide scholarship assistance for students in need. This committee also organizes the annual parish picnic and a basket raffle during Catholic Schools Week.
