Giving Tree Collection

THE ADVENT GIVING TREE

Be sure to take an ornament from the Advent Giving Trees that are located at each entrance of the Church. Each   ornament lists specific needs of one of the four charities being served this year. Bring your donations to Room 7 on December 10th & 11th. Cash donations and checks  accepted (checks payable to certain charity). Please  remove an ornament from the tree and purchase the gift or gifts suggested. DO NOT WRAP THE GIFTS!

Blessing House – In need of soccer balls, baseballs, footballs, craft kits, Pull-Ups (Size 2T-3T and 4T-5T),  napkins, storage and freezer bags (sandwich and quart size), children’s body wash, and children’s shampoo.

Laura’s Home – In need of new toys (gifts for children ages 0-17), mini calendars, journals, long sleeve shirts (sizes 3T-14 boys & girls), sweat pants (sizes 3T-16 boys & girls).

St. Colman Literacy Outreach – In need of printer paper, paperback dictionaries (new or used), 2-pocket folders, 1/3 top tab file folders, pencils, coffee, 8 oz. Styrofoam cups, powdered creamer, sugar, tea bags, napkins, tissues, and paper towels.

St. Herman’s Men’s Shelter – In much need of hats, white socks, gloves, long johns (tops & bottoms), Hanes pocket tee shirts (all sizes).

The Social Action Committee will load and distribute the gifts on December 11th beginning at 12 noon. Help is needed for loading and delivering these donations. If you have a van, SUV, or large car and would like to help, please call Fran at 440-777-2396.
